Flatweave Rug — Natural

The flat-woven rug in natural — undyed, which means the colour is simply whatever the reclaimed cotton was before anybody dyed it. Oatmeal with darker flecks running through the weave.

Of everything we make this is the most honest about the material, because nothing has been added to even it out. If you want a rug that looks uniform, buy the stone; this one is visibly made of mixed yarn and is meant to be.

Flat weave, reversible, and it lies down under a door. It suits a bedside or a hallway better than a bathroom — it is absorbent, but a rug this size takes a long time to dry.

Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle with like colours, and no fabric softener. At this size it needs a reasonably large drum — a standard 7 kg machine takes one on its own, but not alongside a load of towels. Line dry flat. Full guidance is on Care & Materials.
