Deep Diamond Mat — Milk

The deep diamond weave in milk — an off-white with a warm cast rather than a bleached white, which is as pale as reclaimed cotton goes without dyeing it.

Thick cotton rope knotted into a lattice that stands clear of the ground. On a pale mat the shadow between the knots is what you see, so the pattern reads as relief rather than as colour, and it looks better on a dark floor than a light one.

Heaviest weave in the range and the slowest to dry. Undyed pale cotton also shows a footprint sooner than the mid tones do; that washes out.
