Privacy policy
Last updated 24 March 2025
Zoriqena is operated by WAYGO TRADING DEVELOPMENT LIMITED, a company registered in Hong Kong. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use zoriqena.com, why we collect it, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written to be read rather than skimmed past.
The short version
- We collect what we need to take an order, ship it, and answer you afterwards. Not more.
- We never see your full card number. Payment is handled by Shopify's hosted checkout.
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade it.
- You can email info@zoriqena.com and ask what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
What we collect
- Order and contact details — your name, email address, shipping address, billing address and, if you give one, a phone number.
- Payment information — the card brand, the last four digits, and the authorisation result. We do not receive or store the full card number, the expiry date or the security code. See our Payment & Security page for the full breakdown.
- Order history — what you bought, when, at what price, and anything to do with a return or refund.
- Messages you send us — emails and contact-form submissions, including whatever you choose to put in them.
- Technical information — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and referring site, collected automatically as you browse.
- Marketing preferences — whether you have asked to receive email from us, and whether you have since unsubscribed.
We do not ask for, and have no use for, your date of birth, your government identification, your income or any other special category of personal data. If you volunteer any of it in a message, we will not add it to your customer record.
Why we use it
- To fulfil your order. Taking payment, printing a label, telling a carrier where to go, and emailing you a tracking number.
- To talk to you about that order. Confirmations, dispatch notices, delays, returns and refunds.
- To run the shop. Accounting, tax records, fraud screening, and working out which products to make more of.
- To send marketing email, only if you asked for it. Every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.
- To meet legal obligations. Keeping transaction records for the period the law requires, and responding to lawful requests.
Where the law requires a legal basis for processing, ours is: performance of a contract with you (fulfilling your order), our legitimate interests (running and securing the business, preventing fraud), your consent (marketing email, non-essential cookies), and compliance with legal obligations (tax and accounting records).
Who else sees it
Only the parties that have to, and only the part they need:
- Shopify, which hosts this store and its checkout, and processes personal information on our behalf as our service provider.
- Payment processors, which handle the card transaction. They receive the payment details we never see.
- Carriers and fulfilment partners, which receive the name, address and phone number needed to deliver a parcel.
- Our manufacturing partner, where an item ships directly. They receive a delivery address and nothing else — no email address, no payment information, no order history.
- Professional advisers and authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information, or need advice on a dispute.
We require each of these to use your information only for the purpose we gave it to them for. We do not disclose your personal information to anyone else, and we do not disclose it for anyone else's marketing.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information for money.
- We do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
- We do not buy customer lists, and we will never email you because someone else sold us your address.
- We do not use your purchase history to set a different price for you than for anyone else.
Cookies and similar technologies
This store uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work — keeping your cart, keeping you signed in, and protecting the checkout against fraud. These cannot be switched off without breaking the site.
It also uses analytics cookies that tell us, in aggregate, which pages people look at and where they give up. Where the law requires your consent for these, you will be asked before they are set, and you can change your answer at any time from the cookie preferences control on the site.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out request for that browser where applicable law gives it that effect.
Your privacy choices
You can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information at any time, whether or not we think any is taking place, at Your Privacy Choices. You can also exercise any of the rights below by emailing us — there is no form and no account required.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it.
- Have inaccurate information corrected.
- Have information deleted, where we are not legally required to keep it.
- Receive your information in a portable format, or have it sent to another provider.
- Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent you previously gave.
- Opt out of marketing email, at any time, with one click.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. We will not refuse service, change a price or reduce quality because you asked.
Email info@zoriqena.com and say what you want. We will verify that the request comes from you — usually by replying to the address on the order — and answer within the period your local law sets, and within 30 days in any case. If we decline a request we will say why.
If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, you may also complain to your national data protection authority. We would rather you came to us first, but nothing here stops you doing both.
International transfers
We are based in Hong Kong and the store's infrastructure is operated by Shopify, whose servers are outside your country in most cases. Your personal information is therefore transferred across borders in the ordinary course of running the shop. Where information is transferred out of the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, it is done under a recognised transfer mechanism such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, or to a country recognised as providing adequate protection.
How long we keep it
Order and transaction records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, which is several years. Contact-form and email correspondence is kept for as long as it is useful to a possible return or warranty question, and then deleted. Marketing subscription records are kept until you unsubscribe, plus a minimal record of the unsubscribe itself so that we do not email you again by accident.
Security
The whole site is served over TLS. Payment card data never touches a system we operate. Access to order records is limited to named accounts that need it. No system is perfectly secure and we will not claim otherwise; what we can say is that the highest-value data in an online shop — card numbers — is not in our possession to lose.
Children
This store is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of majority where they live. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will also be announced on the store. This version replaces any earlier version.
